Norbert Lubricants' specially designed industrial lubricating waxes and wax emulsions provide easy-to-handle surfaces while effectively protecting your parts from wear and corrosion. Depending on the lubrication application, full-life lubrication can be achieved in many cases, thus saving unnecessary labor costs.
What are industrial lubricating waxes and wax emulsions?
Lubricating waxes are not fundamentally solid lubricants. They form a dry-to-touch lubricating layer on the surface of the part to ensure reliable lubrication while reducing boundary and mixed friction. They are composed of polymer synthetic hydrocarbons, additives, and oils (mineral oils, synthetic hydrocarbons).
Unlike lubricating wax, wax emulsions are water-based and contain emulsifiers. Evaporation of water leaves a film firmly attached to the surface.
It is important to understand that wax turns into a liquid at a certain temperature. The melting point depends on the composition and ratio of the wax.
Lubricating wax - reliably protects chains and other components from wear and corrosion
Dry lubrication with one of our specialty industrial lubricants offers many advantages. Greases are often prone to dust and dirt, while wax-lubricated surfaces are cleaner. Depending on the product, wax can often be applied to polished surfaces without additional additives for low-temperature applications.
Lubricating waxes are effective in preventing wear and corrosion in applications such as ropes and chains. The right specialty lubricants can greatly simplify the assembly of small components, such as by reducing drag, allowing bolts, bushings or rivets to be easily pressed into fixtures.
Our lubricating wax also prevents sharp hinges from making sharp noises, ensuring the smooth operation of industrial components in frictional contact.
Wax emulsion - a cost-effective lubrication solution for large-scale coatings
Wax emulsions are particularly suitable for automatic lubrication of a large number of small parts at the same time. They can be conveniently applied to industrial parts by spraying or dipping. With the right emulsified wax, you can quickly coat screws and bolts, rivets, pins, seals, sliding surfaces or insert connections, and most importantly, very economical. The integrated UV indicator allows for effective quality control of the coating after application.
Advantage:
- Clean and dry lubrication: makes the surface easy to handle, and dust and dirt cannot adhere to the surface.
- Exceptional lubrication performance: Reduces wear caused by boundary friction.
- Reliable corrosion resistance
- High-end solutions: industrial-specific technologies, high-performance test equipment
